ACC Claims Completed In House - No Referral Necessary!
That means that if you’ve experienced an accident or injury in New Zealand, you may be eligible for assistance from ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation). When booking your Chiropractor in Howick & Botany for your Initial Structural Examination, let our Chiropractic Assistants know what’s happened and they’ll further guide you through the finer details of the process. And don’t worry, it’s a simple process, and we have everything you need to complete your claim.
The ACC Process
1. Visit your health provider
Contact Platinum Chiropractic to lodge a new ACC claim and we’ll make sure we fill out all the right forms and make the claim on your behalf. No referral needed.
2. Pay for part of your appointment
Injuries covered under the Chiropractic Scope of Practice will be subsidized by ACC. They’ll contribute to part of the cost of treatment, the remaining co-payment is to be covered privately.
3. ACC will confirm if you’re covered
We’ll provide ACC with your mobile number so you can receive a text advising you what is happening with your claim. Both you and your Chiropractor will receive a letter confirming the injury covered. This can occur anywhere between a few days to up to a week.
